Goodbye New Zealand...

After 10 glorious, fun-filled days in this gorgeous country, it was sadly time to say goodbye. And boy-oh-boy did we save the best for last! We spent our last day on a tour of Milford Sound....it was breathtaking to say the least! The roads to get to Milford Sound can be really dangerous in the winter and they require you to carry snow chains at all times. Since Tyson and I aren't quite well versed in snowy weather driving (let's face it - in Houston we'll never need to use snow chains!) we decided to be safe and take one of the many bus tours into the sounds. Once we arrived in Milford, we hopped on a boat for a 2 hour tour of Milford Sound...2 hours cruising on the brightest blue water by stunning snow-capped cliffs, beautiful waterfalls, and adorable wildlife was quite the Grand Finale for our trip! Despite the freezing cold weather, we were blessed with a crisp, sunny day as we sat on top of the boat and soaked in the serenity and beauty that is Milford Sound. As you might imagine, we took entirely too many pictures of the scenery - all of which look very similar to each other - but we just couldn't help it.
